The Founders of the ethereal destination MAKA Forest Villa, ASEAN architect Ronnie Yumang and ecopreneur Marison Yumang are humbled as one of the recipients of the Inspiring Tourism Entrepreneurs Awards 2024 under the category UNIQUE ATTRACTION AND RECREATION EXCELLENCE AWARD.
Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion in cooperation with the Department of Tourism advocates for the development of the country’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) recognizes outstanding businesses and enterprises that have demonstrated exceptional commitment in promoting the Philippines’ rich culture, contributing to the growth and socioeconomic development of the country’s tourism industry. We are forever grateful for the recognition of our small yet consistent contribution being an ecopreneur.
Coming from an impoverished family selling newspapers in the streets of Sta. Mesa for a few centavos, I value any meager resource we have turning it into a valuable asset. This same outlook in life built the very foundation of MAKA Forest Villa, a Regenerative community of likeminded people located at Alfonso, Cavite. We have created an uncontested, sunrise markets anchored on endogenous principle – the traditional ecological knowledge. By harnessing the local wisdom and abundance in our land, we understand better the nature of nature. Thus, developing a business model reaching unserved and underserved markets.
Receiving an award from Go Negosyo and Department of Tourism, an organization that embodies authority, integrity, and global influence we believe will share best our story, our advocacy.
In pursuit of telling the world, we need to embark a critical mind – be more conscious, before we Sustain we need to REGENERATE our resources. MAKA Forest Villa is the face of Regeneration.
